Benefits are sent out between the 4th and the 22nd of every month, based on the last digit of your SSN.
If your:
| SSN ends in | Benefits available |

| 0 | 4th of the month |
| 1 | 6th of the month |
| 2 | 8th of the month |
| 3 | 10th of the month |
| 4 | 12th of the month |
| 5 | 14th of the month |
| 6 | 16th of the month |
| 7 | 18th of the month |
| 8 | 20th of the month |
| 9 | 22nd of the month |
Exceptions:
- All homeless recipients receive benefits on the 4th of every month, regardless of the last digit of their SSN.
- In January, recipients who would normally receive benefits on the 6th of every month, receive benefits on the 5th, instead, to account for Three Kings Day.
- Usually for Holy Friday, Thanksgiving and New Year, benefits are available another day instead the holiday.
